USING THE IMAGES IN PV PHOTOBASE

PVPhotobase is intended to make Pascack Valley History accessible to the members of the community. We are a 501(C)3 non-profit organization and provide PVPhotobase as a public service.

You may browse the PVPhotobase collection as much as you like. Remember though that the material in the database has been made available to the public for use in education, research and general recreation. Teachers may use the materials in the classroom as part of their curriculum. Historians researching early Pascack Valley history may use the materials to learn about our area and may present then in a non-profit setting, ie. a talk at a library or school. Families browsing the collection may allow a child to capture a photo and bring it to school or to a Scout meeting or other organization activity.

The materials in the PVPhotobase may not be used for commercial purposes without the permission of the project and the contributor of the original materials. Reproduction in books, advertisements, corporate publications, newspapers, magazines, documentary films, television programming, or other public or private activities of a commercial nature is prohibited without written permission from the project and from the original contributor or owner where required.
